Power Supply

The Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series Switches support an external redundant power supply option. Each switch is equipped with one fixed power supply and offers the option for an external redundant power supply via the Cisco Redundant Power System (RPS) 2300. The Cisco Catalyst 2960-XR Series Switches support dual redundant power supplies. They come with one power supply by default, with the option to purchase a second power supply either when ordering the switch or as a spare. These power supplies include built-in fans for cooling.
